If anybody asks me why I am the way I am I tell him that I learned it from a very special man He is my inspiration and the best friend I ever had And then I tell who's asking that I'm talking about my dad He's sporty and hard working and he's proud of who he is But most of all I think that he's proud of his wife and kids He loves us more than anything and really makes that known The fact that we're his top priority is always clearly shown He's funny and he's silly and he always makes me laugh I love his sense of humor and the way he always acts I love is when he smiles because it can light up a room And he's always such a riot even

Slugs.

Slugs are gross. Slugs are slimy. Slugs are wet and slugs are grimy. Slugs will shrivel when salt is near. When you think they're gone they'll reappear. Slugs will form a pile of goo. Slugs will stick to the bottom of your shoe. Slugs leave a trail of rainbow glop. Even though it's shiny, appetizing it is not. I once had a barbeque and my appetite was wrecked. Due to the fact there were slugs on my deck. I once had a party and nobody ate cake. Because slugs were dug up in the sandbox with rakes. Slugs are often thought of as creatures of ick. And that can be proven because they make people sick. I'm sure they have a purpose but

I Cannot Be Calculated

Soft words. Hard words. Metaphors. Whispers. Shouts. Silent proclimations. Innocence. Guilt. Accidental conviction. I am a metaphor. A combination of two opposites. I do not wish to make sense. When sense is made, certainty exists. The existence of certainty leaves no room for error and mistakes are human nature. I am not the sum of any number of mathematical certainties, nor will I ever be I am the absence of certainty. I am a combination of silent metaphors. And mismatched uncertainties.

The Landscape

On a train. Five hours left. Beauty all arount me. Anxiousness inside me, welling up inside. I might burst. The trees calm me. The leaves change so slowly, softly, beaufifully; againsty the blues of the sky and the green that wishes to stay in the landscape that is slowly turning cold. Dying. The death of the landscape is the color of warm ash. It makes me feel safe. Because I know that no matter how cold or dead the landscape looks, It is a l i v e . . . And I am no longer anxious. I am as calm as the warm ash. The landscape warms my soul.

It has come to my attention that many people, for whatever reason (a lack of brain cells and surplus of watching MTV perhaps), don't know how to correctly go about the deviantART forums. Whether the said deviant doesn't know about the forums beyond the Deviants Forum; couldn't tell you what the word "etiquette" means if it kicked them in the ass; or just cannot find that silly, little "Reply" link, there is always someone out there having trouble with the forums which will always result in a flame. As hilarious and entertaining the flames may be, it is something that could be easily be avoided. However, the deviant must be willing to learn if

I just went through your gallery again. Most of your photos are really sparse looking... but I like the simplicity of them.

They feel kind of lonely though. Is that on purpose, or am I just interpreting them that way?

A lot of people tell me that my photos are simple and depressing. I just like taking photos like that. I prefer to think of them as pensive and melancholy, not so much lonely or depressing.
